An Integrative, Body-Based Approach
Rather than relying only on conversation, I incorporate somatic practices, mindfulness, meditation, movement, breathwork, grounding, and Reiki based on each child's age, personality, comfort level, and individual needs.
Sessions are interactive and individualized. With younger children, we may use movement, games, sensory experiences, imagination, breathing exercises, or time outdoors. With teens, our work may include mindfulness, meditation, body awareness, grounding practices, and opportunities for reflection and self-discovery.
There isn't one "right" way to participate. We find the practices that feel accessible and useful for your child.
Helping young people feel more grounded, connected, and confident in themselves.
Children and teens experience stress, overwhelm, big emotions, and uncertainty just like adults—but they don't always have the words to explain what they're feeling.
Sometimes it shows up as frustration or emotional outbursts. Sometimes it's worry, difficulty settling down, shutting down, trouble focusing, or simply feeling uncomfortable in their own skin.
My work gives children and teens a safe, supportive space to slow down, tune into their bodies, and develop practical tools for navigating what they're experiencing.
Integrative somatic and mindfulness services are supportive wellness services and are not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical care, or other licensed mental-health treatment when those services are needed.
